One to one physics tuition from a qualified and experienced teacher. Based in the Chepstow area but offering online tuition wherever you are.

I am a science teacher by training, with 21 years’ continuous classroom experience. The emphasis on my PGCE course at the University of Bath was Physics and Environmental Science.

• Catch-up and gap-plugging as a result of missed schooling owing to Covid related lockdowns for all years 7-11.

My teaching approach

Private tuition is an opportunity to focus on specific needs and interests without interruption. It allows me to get to know the student, discuss progress and give constructive feedback. As progress is made, learning becomes fun and confidence grows. All lesson content is based on the needs of the student.

I mainly teach online. Today’s web-based learning technology makes teaching online highly effective. We can talk face to face and screenshare. It’s a powerful way to enhance the learning experience. All necessary resources can mailed to you in time for lessons.

I teach with very flexible hours to suit. Short taster sessions are available if you’d like to assess how online teaching works before any paid lessons.
